IMEX 2010 Politicians Forum

IMEX 2010 Politicians Forum Tuesday 25 May 2010, Frankfurt

Each year, some 100 senior executives including 25 politicians representing local and regional government in Europe, Africa, North America and Asia Pacific come together during IMEX, the worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events, held in Frankfurt, Germany.

\n

The Forum provides a platform for participants to discuss the value of the meetings industry as it relates to the economic and social impact on the local community. Case studies illustrating successful co-operation between local politicians and the meetings community are presented. The Forum allows politicians and industry leaders to share their experiences and information and to visit IMEX to see the meetings industry at work.

\n

“I was immensely impressed with the magnitude of the global meetings industry and the overall setup and impact of IMEX on the sector as well as the networking and business platform it offers to exhibitors.”  Cumhur Guven Tasbasi, Deputy Governor of Istanbul
