[Scenario Workshop] Trend Room / The Travellers of Tomorrow

Following the Trend Talk on January 31, the Trend Room is also organising an Online Scenario Workshop on “The Travellers of Tomorrow” on February 8 for our CityDNA members!

This unique online workshop will be prepared and moderated by Albert Postma, and Carolin Giarra, Scenario planners at ETFI (European Tourism Futures Institute).

AIM
The aim of the scenario planning workshop is to explore:
1. How the travellers of tomorrow will transform the travel landscape of urban tourism destinations in the long term of 5 to 10 years by means of future scenarios (2035 is taken as time horizon)
2. Possible implications of these scenarios
3. Possible strategies to anticipate these future scenarios.

The outcome and conclusions of the workshop will result to a whitepaper, presented in Bologna during a Trend Room open session on April 24.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This workshop is targeted to DMO’s strategists, (digital) marketeers, CEO’s, Sales people or anyone who is involved in developing future strategies for their organisation and destination.

PREPARATION
Please note material and background information will be distributed to participants after registration, and some homework should be prepared by participants and sent back to Carolin Giarra on February 6.
