We are looking forward to welcoming you for this 10th edition!
- The attendance is limited to 90 persons, with a maximum of 2 delegates per city!
- Lunches and dinner included
- Your participation fee does not cover accommodation or transport
The aim of the meeting is of course to get to know your European colleagues, to share knowledge with them but most of all, we want you to have fun and leave full of inspiration and with a bunch of new friends.
Ten years ago, a young Knowledge Group started celebrating a meeting that nobody expected to be as successful as it is now. Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Dublín, Budapest, Lviv, Ghent, an online edition, Girona, Gothenburg and now Bologna. From North to South, from East to West, the TIC Experts Meeting has taken place in every corner of our continent, and this edition is going to be a celebration of it.
Many things have happened since this journey started: pandemics, economic crisis, the arrival of the artificial intelligence, even war. TICs, we’ve learned a lot from every single event and circumstance, we’ve demonstrated how adaptative we are, and how much we love our business to never give up, never surrender.
This edition of the TIC Experts Meeting will focus its attention in how TICs can actively contribute in making our destinations a better place to live, a better place to visit. Creativity, commitment, engagement, awareness and resilience are values that become the foundations of a more conscious tourism, respectful with the local communities, putting in value those less known resources and contributing to the local economy in a sustainable way. By using these values, TICs can find endless ways to ACT RESPONSIBLY and to encourage our visitors act responsibly too.
Responsible tourism is not related nor depending on big budgets or big structures: creativity is in charge. We’ll have the opportunity to learn how TICs faced sustainability challenges in very creative ways. Also, we will find inspiration and work together in order to bring back home new ideas that will help us develop our work in a more responsible way.
And there will be much more: the Hostmanship Award, new TIC KG projects to be presented, and some surprises!
Everybody is welcome to the wonderful city of Bologna to celebrate our 10th edition. Come and celebrate with us!
