European Cities Marketing (ECM) and ArrivalGuides working hand in hand
ECM, the European network of city tourist offices and convention bureaux, has just signed a partnership contract with ArrivalGuides, the world’s largest network of destination information.
Under the terms of the contract, ArrivalGuides will be aiming to help ECM members to generate more travelers to their city destinations through the ArrivalGuides network.
In welcoming the new partnership, the President of European Cities Marketing, Dieter Hardt-Stremayr, says today: “ ArrivalGuides destination information is available in channels and formats that are used by millions of travelers for inspiration, to find the next holiday destination, to plan and prepare the trip and to enjoy the holiday. With one decision the destination can make sure the destination is available in the network and take control of all content that is published for their destination in the ArrivalGuides network.”
Magnus Aideborn, CEO ArrivalGuides, says: “ArrivalGuides partner with many of the leading tourist destinations in Europe and we strongly believe that ECM offers us the perfect platform to forge strong partnerships with a large number of the key European tourist destinations.”
ArrivalGuides was founded 2004 and is today the largest network of destination information in the world with over 170 major distribution channels such as Ryanair, Brussels Airlines, Germanwings, Transavia, SAS, Flybe, Airberlin, Qatar Airways, Air New Zealand, Aegean Air, Meridiana, Travelocity Nordic, Thomas Cook Nordic, Bravofly, TUIFly as well as leading media websites in Norway (Aftenposten and Dagbladet), Sweden (Expressen and GP), Australia (News Limited), UK (Evening Standard) and India (Manorama).
