ETOA: A New Force for City Break

ETOA: A New Force for City Break This year, from 15th to 16th June 2009, City Break will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, and, as normal, will precede the ECM Annual Conference which will take place in the very same city from 17th to 20th June.

In 2006, European Cities Marketing in cooperation with Reed Travel Exhibitions, organised the very first City Break in Helsinki. During the following years, the City Break exhibition together with the ECM Annual Conference was hosted by the cities of Athens and Belgrade.

This year, from 15th to 16th June 2009, City Break will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, and, as normal, will precede the ECM Annual Conference which will take place in the very same city from 17th to 20th June.

However City Break 2009 will see an increase in buyers thanks to cooperation with European Tour Operators Association (ETOA), who are inviting over 100 of their buyer members to attend the show.  These members are located internationally and are looking to contract European City Tourism products.  ETOA’s members number over 100 and include Gulliver’s Travel Associates, Expedia.com, Trafalgar Tours, Kuoni, Tauck World Discovery and Hotel Reservations Services.

\n

\n

To ensure only serious buyers attend this event each buyer is individually screened and authenticated by ETOA to ensure they meet the required buyer profile.  ETOA will ensure that the buyers attending City Break 2009 are dedicated to finding new suppliers and researching new developments in the City Break sector.
