ECM shows its new force in IMEX

ECM shows its new force in IMEX European Cities Marketing, full of new energy, was present in IMEX, Frankfurt, from 22nd to 24th April 2008. ECM was also one of the organizers of the Politicians Forum.

The visitors got the 22nd ECM Summer School programme and had the possibility to discover the brand new ECM website at the stand of ECM. They could also try the functioning of “ECM Destination Finder”, an online tool which helps meeting planners find the destination for their meetings among 80 European cities.

During the press conference entitled “A New Force for European Cities Marketing” held on Thursday 24th April, Olivier Lépine, the ECM vice-president for Conventions, had the pleasure to describe the positive evolution of ECM not only in working on the established Conventions and Tourism program but also in developing new projects. Olivier Lépine provided detailed information about some of these activities and explained why ECM could record such a favorable feedback recently. In particular he dealt with Meet Europe, ECM Summer School, ECM Destination finder and CEO Dinner that has contributed remarkably to the success of Politicians Forum.

“The merger made us stronger, we have a real new force and plenty of ideas. I know that we have been rather silent in the last few months but I promise, you will hear about ECM in the future.”, claims Olivier Lépine in the closing of the press conference.
