The R&S working Group aims to provide you, our ECM members, with practical tools and reports on research and benchmark items, which will help you in your own work.

The Working Group has developed some ‘evergreens’ such as the TOURMIS city database and the city survey (with handbook), that we try to improve in terms of methodology and user-friendliness in the near future.
\n
\n
New projects in 2009 are the shopping index, to be launched this spring and a search engine to find studies from colleagues willing to share their knowledge. This could open the doors to an enormous amount of information for our members.
\n
\n
In the knowledge group meetings, which are open to all members, we present our projects, but also have presentations on studies in the field of city tourism or benchmark projects in a variety of fields. You will find the latest information on our ECM intranet, under working groups.
