ECM General Assembly

\n

ECM General Assembly unanimously approved the strategy for the next three years. In order to clarify and strengthen the role of the Association, the strategy simplifies governance and sets out a three year framework of strategic aims and key performance indicators. The achievement of this strategy will enhance the delivery of membership services, boost the number of members and enable the Association to reinforce its position as the leading pan-European forum for the exchange of information and best practice.

Charlotte Ullberg (Uppsala) was appointed as Treasurer. Stefan Diender (Amsterdam) and Olivier Lépine (Biarritz), continue their mandates as Vice-Presidents of the Tourism and Conventions Forums respectively, under the presidency of Dieter Hardt-Stremayr (Graz). Five Board members were also elected during the Las Palmas meeting: Annick Bogaert (Antwerp), Airy Garrigosa (Barcelona), Tuulikki Becker (Helsinki), Vedran Matosic (Split) and Gillian Cruddas (York).
