Stuttgart’s Hotel Landscape on the Upswing

Stuttgart’s hotel landscape continues to expand. The Star Inn Hotel Stuttgart Airport-Messe and the Dorint Airport-Hotel Stuttgart opened in May and June respectively as the first of a series of new hotel projects, with several more to follow.

In the coming years some 2,000 additional rooms are expected to become available in Stuttgart. Since early summer the city boasts two additional hotels, with two new establishments in close proximity to the airport as the first to reach completion.

1st May 2015 saw the opening of the Star Inn Hotel Stuttgart Airport-Messe, located in Plieningen within sight of the airport and the trade fair grounds. The hotel has 113 standard rooms (20 of which can be used as special family rooms), 26 business rooms, 16 twin rooms and 4 suites. The Dorint Airport-Hotel Stuttgart opened its doors to the public on 1st June 2015 in the immediate vicinity of the airport. This 3-star Superior Hotel has 155 rooms and four modern conference rooms for up to 162 delegates. As befitting its location, it is the first theme hotel with the motto aviation and air traffic.
